Again I told her this was unacceptable and unprofessional and that she needed to find someone to meet with us while we were there. We were told by the catering manager that she would not meet with us because she was going on vacation. We were told we had to do it over the phone which was unacceptable we wanted to be there and make sure things got done. To me seems like a job for the wedding coordinator but was told that I do that on my own) and to do the preparations for catering through Caesars palace at our reception. I’m from California and have family in Vegas so it wasn’t a big deal to come down here to do my hair and make up trial (which was my responsibility to set up by the way. I should have Made a bigger deal out of it at the time but I was so nervous about our wedding that I tried my hardest to make it work. Really ? we had to upgrade our package $1000 last min to get a venue that fit our guest. After finding out that we only had a hospitality suite that fit 50 people Lindsay said it will be OK if you just have your guest filter in and out. When I ask if we can bring our own food and beverage to our suite we were told that all food and beverage must be ordered through the hotel which come to find out is not true if you get a hotel suite you can bring food and drinks in. Upfront I asked her about the food and beverage credit and said do you think $500 will make a pretty good dent in the catering and she assured me yeah that should pretty much cover it. She sent us a brochure with three different hospitality suite that fit 100 people and led us to believe that one of those was our hospitality suite. She was asked several times to show us a picture of the hospitality Suite. Lindsey had know that we were planning on having a reception in the hospitality suite. We had 80 guests at our wedding which was talked about before hand come to find out the hospitality suite we were given Fits 50 people even though she knew we had much more than that. Our package came with a hospitality suite. The very first warning sign was about three weeks till the wedding. I would try and call her personal line and she would never answer so a couple of times I called the Caesar’s Palace wedding line and she would answer that which led me to believe that my calls where being ignored. In some emails I would ask a few questions and only some of them would get answered. My wedding coordinator Lindsey Was very difficult to get a hold of and refuse to do anything but email which to me is very archaic. Let me just make this Clear THEY DO NOT GIVE A CRAP about you. This could not be further from the truth. I had the emperor package which supposedly has everything you need including a “dedicated” wedding coordinated. They will not get in contact until 30 day prior to the wedding to do the preparation. She will only get back to you through email some times taking as long as 3 to 4 days And if you don’t email well then that’s your problem according to Lindsay. Very poor communication with the wedding coordinator Lindsay. If you are a couple looking for a place to get married please save yourself the aggravation and heartache of choosing Caesars Palace Weddings.
